Help! What Do You Wear To A Wedding?
It's been quite some time since I was invited to a wedding as a guest and not a participant( i.e. a bridesmaid) Yes always a fucking bridesmaid, never a bride but that's neither here nor there. The thing is I was invited to this wedding months ago and it just occurred to me I don't have anything wedding-worthy to wear. I've been looking around online and just when I think I might have a winner I stop myself with a billion questions. Is this weather appropriate? Can I wear black? Is this too casual? Is this too formal? Is this too short? Does it look like I'm going to prom? Does this look like I'm going to work? The questions don't stop..it's like I've got my own little quality control checklist in my head. Am I putting too much thought into it? See...another fucking question. I can't help it though, I pay attention to detail. I need help people, what the hell do you wear to a wedding in the middle of September?
