Free Love (Well Almost)

I'm single. I've been single for quite some time. Oddly enough, I'm always single every single year on Valentine's Day...and it sucks. It sucks because I never get to experience the surprise flower delivery, box of chocolates, or special dinner...not even a mixtape of love songs. Now if you're thinking "It's not all that" or "I'm not missing much because it's too stressful" please spare me the patronizing bullshit you're obviously NOT single. I am and since the grass always appears to be greener just once I want to partake in the commercialized tradition of showing you care by giving gifts and buying candy also known as Valentine's Day. So I got to thinking, "why not?" Surely I can't be the only one who feels this way, so why not get people together and have a Valentine's party, complete with a gift exchange! You give a gift, you get a gift, no strings attached. We did it in grade school (remember candy hearts..love those!) so think of this as a modern and grown up V-Day party. Only with alcohol and better snacks. Genius.
